All lego games for vita/ds are not the same as the console version. They are still fun don’t get me wrong, but it is very misleading that it’s called the exact same thing with the exact same cover art but you’re getting a different game than if you bought the ps/Xbox version of this game.I wanted some sort of lego game for my Vita and didn't know where to start. So many reviews about the games simply being ports from the PS3 or Nintendo and being awful. The game works great with the Vita, I have no complaints at all with it's function or ability. The game-play is full of fun puzzles to solve, stories, adventures, items to find etc. The only gripe I have which other reviewers have mentioned are the cut scenes being blurry and poor rendering; but the truth is, that's all they are, cut scenes, and if you know the movies then you don't need to watch. It doesn't affect the game itself and the graphics during game-play are excellent. Anyone who enjoys these kind of adventure games will love this game whether or not you like Harry Potter. I bought the Lego Batman game along with this one to play once I finish it. I paid $29 for both through Amazon or fulfillment by Amazon. I believe separate Harry Potter cost ~$12 but you don't get super saver shipping, must be $25 or more. The vita is region free, but I still want all my games to be in my region due to DLC and other possible network issues.okay i will start off by saying that this game isn't that good of a port,the graphics don't look very impressive or anything,but they do look better and improved over the Nintendo version,as far as game play goes,if you have played previous Lego games you know what to expect,currently the game is 16 dollars,and for that price i have no problem recommending this game if you just want to relax and try something a little different than what you usually play,if you like the other Lego games you will like this one,though its not the best Lego game,it still has some good content to offer,also if you are a trophy hunter you will have a good time,the trophies in this game are not very hard to obtain at all :)This is my 9yr olds review:I like that the game is lego based and fun, but its HARD, super-duper hard.Mom returns...I have noticed that he does not play this game as much as others and he is pretty good at most games(he plays "adult" games with his dad and uncles...they have madden tourneys), being an "e-rated" game and lego based, I would've expected it to be a little more toned down OR have a difficulty select feature as some games do(this is my feeling AFTER learning why he doesn't like it). I have seen the game in play and the graphics are great, pictures vivid, etc, so it is a great game, just maybe geared to children older than mine(or adults).This is a very fun game. Im already on The Deathly Hallows Part 2, and I have only played it for 4 1/2 hours.If you played any Lego game you know they are all the same great gameplay consisting of solving simple puzzles and beating foes. The issue is with the Vita version as its the DS version. This is a horrible because you can't take advantage of the Vitas capabilities. This is the most powerful handheld and the games are being copied and pasted this needs to stop. You should make dedicated games for each system because essentially all Lego games are the same (mechanics, function)so not much money goes into producing the same game over and over. If you put forth effort I would gladly pay more.I played a Lego game a few years ago and had a lot of fun. This game I never found fun. I played it for about three hours and I was bored the whole time. The first Lego game I played was good for all ages, I think it was the Lego Star Wars. This one is ultra simple and feels like it is for a much younger age. Would recommend it to other parents.英語表記ですが、操作が簡単で非常に分かり易い。ステージのギミックが、良い感じです。いたる所に、色々な仕掛けが隠されてます。謎解きも、ジックリ散策しながら見付けるのが楽しいです。心地良い難易度と言った方が、良いでしょう。グラフィックは良いとは言えませんが、PSPよりは綺麗だし滑らかに動いてくれます。PSP版の前作では、ジャンプすら出来なかったのですが、このゲームではジャンプが出来ます。これだけでも、全然 違いますね。音楽も、ハリーポッターらしい感じの曲が多く、演出が上手いです。謎解きのレベルが心地良いと書きましたが、物足り無く思う方も居ると思います。ここは、多分 好みが分かれるでしょう。ハリーポッターのキャラクターも、LEGOになると どれも同じに見えると思いきや、喋る時や個人特有の魔法に個性を感じます。キャラクターを切り替えながら、進むステージの数々が良い感じです。英語が分からなくても、結構サクサク勧める事が出来ます。日本版Vitaでは、おそらく発売しないと思うので、気になってる方は購入してもよろしいかと。
