Loved the game. Story is a little bit on the weak side but gameplay is what matters. For less than $20 is a steal. High replay value and good for people starting with base building games. This one has RPG elements as well as exploration. Give it a try, do not disappoint.PS5 version. There is a good game in here. It’s just a shame it’s hard to find.Bugs weren’t too bad. Nothing you can’t live with. But I had to drop from Normal to Easy. While difficulty scales are relative, I think it n this game Easy is Normal and Normal is Hard. But hey, I was having fun on Easy.Till it sent me to the second area, and Wow.Can you say difficulty spike? And it put so many monsters on screen all at one time the PS5 was doing a slide show.Literally. The slowdown made it unplayable.Unfortunately it seems the developers have abandoned the console versions and are focusing on the Steam version. They are very active on Steam, but nothing for us console people.I’d love for them to fix things, I’d be back in a heartbeat.I love this type of strategy game but it suffers from being a PC game first. Very hard to see all the information on screen (even on large tv). Would give more stars if was adjusted to work for a console.3/4 view build and researchLoved this game, tons of replay, there are some bugs but most have been fixed already. Totally loved it.satisfying, very goodThis is the game I keep coming back to on PS5. It has a long and deep campaign which sees you build numerous different outposts all across an alien planet, pursuing scientific and technological research whilst learning to live alongside the teeming swarms of local wildlife. It is hard to break down the satisfying gameplay, but imagine if you were a lone mech unit building up an entire futuristic research base by yourself, establishing mining outposts and power grids and managing water and gas pipelines, or making sure every corner of your encampment was bristling with hundreds of A.I. powered rail gun turrets. Strike out in your robot suit to explore the various landscapes, take samples and prospect for new resources. Fight or analyze the myriad strange aliens beings and forms of plant life which dot the landscape. Blow things to smithereens. The terrain is highly destructible, crystals explode into physics objects, enemy bodies are trampled beneath your mech suit, fires rage out of control and consume forests while you fire tactical mini-nukes...all in the name of scientific progress, of course. The game has pleasing voice acting. You can craft many tiers of devices, upgrades and weapons for your suit, from swords and spears to miniguns and lightning rifles. The twin-stick shooter aspect has a lot visually in common with bullet hell games, plastering the screen with projectiles, enemies and explosions. It runs very proficiently on the PS5, and is full of beautiful lighting, dark and moody real-time shadows, hectic and violent weather patterns, and so many things to do or annihilate. You can passively research into new upgrade trees in the background while building or exploring. If you like the idea of building up and managing the energy needs of a humungous science base while occasionally defending it from a wave of 1000 enemies, you will probably find much to enjoy in this title.
