First, a quick correction, one of the reviews here incorrectly identified this as a RTS (real-time strategy) the sub-genre for Dungeon of Naheulbeuk would be TBT (turn-based tactics) the gameplay is not at all in real-time (ala Age of Empires, StarCraft etc.)You don't need to be familiar with the source material to enjoy this game but you do want to be aware the game heavily features humor and banter. Of course the elf and dwarf don't get along! The game loves to take big swings at all the fantasy tropes. The party might make a level cap joke & a poop joke all in the same breath. If you are a fan of MST3K-eqse humor, this is for you. This game is certainly Deadpool, not Cyclops.The encounters can be challenging to brutal, mostly due to heavy use of RNG. But, that also means give it another go and hope for some good rolls! You know the drill.Playing on a standard PS4 with the games current 1.02 update I have not run into any major issues. I do hope future updates can continue to improve the performance on the console, I have noticed some framerate dips. Install size is 9.58GBEdit. @Blankman, yw!!So like the title says it’s a old school TBT game. I’ve got a couple of hours into it have to say I’m really enjoying it. The controls can be a little confusing at first I think this would be better on a PC but after a couple hours it’s not that bad. All the characters have their own unique personalities and there own way of fighting just like any other RTS. Basically if your in the mood for some RTS with quirky characters this is the game for you.Edit: had to take a couple stars off I’m a lot further in the game and several times during battle I’ve had the game freeze on me. Needless to say you can’t do anything but turn off the game and start over. They really need to fix this. Thanks Josh for pointing that out my bad.Loved the game, I have spent many hours in it and plan to spend more fun. It's a turn-based RPG, lots of giggles to be had.Character are so cute~
