Very sturdy and secure piece, I don't feel afraid of it not keeping my PS4 in place and on the wall. I did use rubber backers behind the screw holes and just put the screws (longer screws) through them to give my console more air flow around the entire console as I was concerned with overheating. (I also made sure at least 2 screws were going into a stud in the wall to make it more secure.)It's holding in place very well and haven't notice it getting any warmer than usual. The only complaint I have about this is the 2 controller mounts that it came with, the sticky pads did not hold to the wall (my wall is flat with a satin paint on it) so my controllers came down almost right away. You can use a screw or nail and nail them to the wall but the mounts themselves feel a little too flexible and don't have that wide of a holding base so I didn't feel like they would hold the controllers that well. That being said, I am still really happy with the purchase as my main reason for it was so that I can get my console up off my computer desk and give me more space, which it did and the mount is very sturdy and reliable.
