Left to fend for himself after his mother abandons him at Bullworth to go on her fifth honeymoon, Jimmy has a whole year at Bullworth ahead of him, working his way up the social ladder of this demented institution of supposed learning, standing up for what he thinks is right and taking on the liars, cheats and snobs who are the most popular members of the student body and faculty. If Jimmy can survive the school year and outsmart his rivals, he could rule the school.Using the "living sandbox" game style similar to Rockstar's previous titles, players complete goals and experiment with items in the game world. A rival may dare you to drop a firecracker into a toilet or scare some sense into the kid who took your lunch money. Don't spend too much time roaming the halls, however, as you may actually be punished for skipping out on important classes. Choices you make outside of school will also impact how friends and foes in the school view you after you buy new clothes and sport a new haircut.Mini games abound Bullworth Academy pride themselves in rigidly sticking to the curriculum at all times, to this end consistent truancy will result in punishment. The esteemed staff of the Academy, though occasionally questionable in their recreational habits, ensure that the pupils have a firm grounding in the key academic subjects. Alongside the strict principals of loyalty, trust and ruthless ambition that are ingrained in every pupil in the academy by the principal Dr Crabblesnitch, core subjects include English, Gym, Shop Class, Photography, Art and Chemistry. Each subject comprises a series of five tests to be passed with flying colors. Of course on passing each test a due reward, in the form of gameplay features will be earned by the player. Bullworth Academy's educational system is provided through a host of exciting and innovative mini games lovingly developed by Rockstar Vancouver to accompany the main storyline of Bully.Do a double clique Just like any other crumbling prep school, Bullworth Academy has its cliques. You'll have to choose whether to side with football jocks, well-dressed preppies, or try to turn them against each other while you laugh at the antics with your fellow greasers. Clique membership becomes even more exciting as your clique rises to the head of the class- making a name for themselves and striking fear into the hearts of those who might cross you. Don't be surprised if some cliques offer up some surprises, as those bug-eyed nerds just may have the scientific know how to create weaponry that can keep those bullies at bay.Ready yourself for a hilarious return to campus living with Bully, the outrageously funny debut title from Rockstar Vancouver, available exclusively for PlayStation2 computer entertainment system.

Saw a video of this on Cinemassacre, and had to try it. It's fun! The dialogue is a little stupid at times, but it's a good story. It just feels short. One thing I really like is the variety of things to do. In the GTA series, players get somewhat boxed into a world they don't relate to and doing things that are relevant only to the game and its premises. In "Bully", it's a little more expanded and elaborate. One thing I really don't like is that you're often not told what to do in some situations. You just have to guess. There are far too many buttons to press on the PS2 comptroller, and the first couple tries results in mission failure because you don't know what to do.The load times feel a little long. The music is excellent. The voice acting is hardly ever terrible. Some of the story is really easy, sometimes feeling like a baby version of GTA.I have found an odd glitch, and I wonder if others have it too. Whenever I use the wardrobe anywhere in the game, it freezes up and you can't really escape without reloading from your last save. Which means wearing the same clothes throughout the game unless you buy new ones. This can be a hassle, and it also means you'll be violating dress code regularly at the school.I enjoyed this game a lot, and it has more playability than some of the GTA series, which it is heavily based on. Give it a spin.I just received this game yesterday and I've already put a few hours worth of time into it. You can't help but notice the Rockstar trademark graphics and intro. Although the controls and character movements I think have improved over the San Andreas controls and movement.I found it challenging to balance the time in this game. The clock moves pretty fast, and you have to run around finding challenges as well as watching the clock to make sure you aren't truant from class or trespassing at night when you're supposed to be in bed! You also have to really watch out for the Prefects, which by the way, is the same term used in Harry Potter. Maybe it's a British thing?I have to disagree with the one reviewer saying that Jimmy is not a Bully. He isn't like the other bullies, but he does have to win the respect of others (GTA style) by protecting and beating up the Bullies. So basically Jimmy bullies the bullies.Breaking into lockers, running errands for the underpriveleged, flirting with girls, getting good grades in class, riding around on a skateboard, and one of my favorites is Dodgeball in Gym Class! And these are all things I've come across in the first few hours of play! What's next?Get this game! It's a vast array of eclectic gaming skills and entertainment styles, you won't regret it!And if you are also looking for a completely original game, graphics like I've never seen before I noticed alot of Bully buyers get Okami, which I did also, and that is like no other game graphics-wise. VERY artistic for those who's girlfriends get tired of watching you play the same ol. It is pleasing to the eye. Very artistic and original.I bought mine used for 8 dollars and it's in perfect condition and case is all good with booklets and even had an original poster included. That being said poster was a tad bit scuffed as it was folded incorrectly.Great!First off, I would like to say that this is probably one of the best PS2 games that I have ever had the pleasure of playing. If you have an appreciation for classic PS2 games or don't have a PS3 (with bc) yet, then this is definitely a title that you should check out. That being said, let me address the pros/cons.Pros-Gameplay similar to all GTA games, which is by the same company.-Free-roaming style of gameplay.-The story-line is interesting and easy to get into.-You could spend hours of mischief.-The missions are fun and varied.-You won't want to put it down.Cons-Could have more interactions with other classmates.-The classmates are repeated throughout the game (you will run into the same people over and over again).-The soundtracks are repeated constantly, and have specific soundtracks for specific situations.-Froze on me a couple of times, and is a bit laggy when running around.-If one group is angry at you, they will randomly chase you in attempt at fighting you. This will lead to the repeated soundtrack that I mentioned earlier.Overall, the pros top the cons.Rockstar's "Bully" is nothing short of a masterpiece.A combination of J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye," John Hughes' "The Breakfast Club," and any kid's movie about school between 1985 and 1996, "Bully" is an interactive adventure that puts you in the role of the Holdenesque Jimmy Hopkins, who is trying to make it through being dumped by his mother and stepfather at Bullworth Academy-- the worst school in America. There he deals with bullies, nerds, preps, jocks and greasers and slowly, over the course of the game, makes friends with each clique through mischievous schoolyard pranks and almost RPG-oriented missions. The game was fairly controversial upon release, though those criticizing it obviously didn't play it. The objective of the game is not to be a bully, but to stop the bullying at Bullworth Academy and make it a better place. The game is very fun, and is my second favorite game of all time, next to "Harvest Moon 64" (Ranch Story 2 in Japan). I anxiously look forward to a sequel to "Bully," which I hope will continue the adventures of Jimmy maybe at a college! Then they could make a video-game along the lines of "Animal House." Either way, "Bully" is a fun, light-hearted and magical video-game.I highly recommend this game!I really like this game. The game came fairly quick considering I ordered it through the holiday season. The game plays great no glitches or freezing issues and bought for a reasonable price .Its a really fun game and I would order from this seller again. Was not to excited about this game. It is slow to me and honestly it is not a very exciting game.I have been waiting for this game for ever.. I love it and will pass it on to my brotherThe game doesn't work on the ps2, is this an American disc? The Disc does not format with a playstation 2. DO NOT BUY!!!!No hay mucho que decir, producto nuevo original en.perfectas condiciones. Todo bien. You can do a lot of things in this game
