I like the idea, but the game wasn't very challenging and I got bored and never picked it up again.Story is good and controls are tight for this retro side scrolling shooter. Reminds me of the good old days of contra or terminator and such on NES, SNES, Sega Genesis. Love the action gameplay and especially the boss fights!Awesome game is all I gotta say. Good value for the money. Being a gamer that grew up with 2D platformers, this was a genre that I've been missing on new consoles, despite having some other options that I felt were unforgiving or off-putting to some extent. The difficulty curve here is well designed, sound track is captivating, atmosphere, graphics, and attitude are all unique and enjoyable.I was hesitant to buy this game and the price tag on Amazon was higher than the price I saw advertised by the manufacturer, but I'm glad I bought it before it sells out and becomes difficult to acquire on a physical release. It does come with a printed manual and a set of 3 metal collector pins.
